MY SERVICES
Inspired by my Quaker education at Friends School in Detroit,
I am a dedicated practitioner of restorative approaches and nonviolence, and committed to
fostering dialogue, connection, and healing.
While my passion lies in empowering youth (ages 24 and under),
I also find deep fulfillment in supporting educators, administrators, and community leaders—particularly those who guide and cultivate youth leadership. To paraphrase the great Fred Rogers,
I am dedicated to supporting “the helpers.”
Below is a selection of the transformative workshops I’ve designed and implemented for students, teachers, and communities, all grounded in principles of restorative justice principles and the circle process, which I first experienced at FSD and that fundamentally changed my life.
If you or your group seek meaningful, values-centered practices that foster mutual storytelling, deep listening, and authentic connection, I invite you to reach out to me on LinkedIn.
I am able to facilitate workshops virtually and in-person in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My fees may be subsidized depending on the size and budget of the group, and I have committed to donating a portion of profit to groups engaging in dialogue and peace education. I am also deeply committed to doing my part to ensure peace work is financially viable, while also ensuring fees are not a deterrent creating meaningful spaces for dialogue.
Let’s collaborate to support your goals and cultivate spaces of connection and transformation.

8-Week Youth Empowerment Program

The Bridge
This 8-week leadership development program requires youth to attend a weekly two-hour roundtable and a weekly two-hour workshop. For one hour each week, they are also required to independently review and engage with resources from a provided handbook. In the first two iterations of this program, students (ages 24 and under) were been paid for their 5-hour per week, 8-week commitment in order to remove barriers to participation and engage in a more professional capacity.
This program prioritizes youth's educational, social, and emotional wellbeing; encourages them to build relationships and networks across their broader community; and is provides an opportunity for them to learn and practice conflict resolution and peacebuilding skills in order to contribute to the long term socioeconomic development of their communities. Weekly topics of the program include Kingian Nonviolence; restorative and transformative practices for conflict transformation; democracy; policy; and media and storytelling.
International Exchange Participant
My most favorite part was how everyone got a chance to share and reflect on what we learned everyday. We could come up with mutual agreements and it showed us
how our goals are so similar.
LEL Program Participant
This program taught me the necessary skills to thrive but to also pause and appreciate the little milestones and progress made.
School Administrator
